Not at all! Whether you’re a complete beginner or just curious, our workshops are designed for you. We welcome first-timers and guide you every step of the way with hands-on support.

Everything you need is provided on-site. The studio supplies all clay, tools, and expert instruction. You just bring your curiosity and creative spirit. Note: The one-hour experience does not include glazing or firing unless arranged separately.

Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on. Closed-toe shoes are a good idea. We recommend tying back long hair and keeping nails short. Once you arrive at our Pondicherry studio, we’ll take care of the rest.

You’ll have several options:

• In the one-hour session, choose between wheel throwing or hand-building (slab, coil, or pinch). You’ll create a small piece like a bowl, planter, or cup.
  
  
• In group experiences, enjoy both hand-building and wheel techniques.
  
  
• Longer courses and residencies explore centering, trimming, handles, lidded vessels, glazing basics, and more.

• One-hour Pottery Experience: 1 hour, available daily between 9 AM and 6 PM
  
  
• Group Pottery Experience: 2–3 hours
  
  
• 12-Session Course: 12 sessions, up to 3 hours each
  
  
• Monthly Residency: 24 sessions across 4 weeks, 6 days per week

In the one-hour session, firing and glazing are not included but can be added at an extra cost. For longer programs, glazing and finishing basics are covered. You'll be informed when your piece is ready for pickup or delivery.

Costs vary depending on the session you choose. Pricing and booking options are available during the sign-up process. For cancellations or rescheduling, we recommend contacting the studio in advance for flexible options.

Yes! Group Pottery Experiences are perfect for birthdays, family fun, or team outings for 6–10 people. For larger or custom events, just get in touch and we’ll help plan something special.

Parent-child duos aged 10 and up are welcome in the one-hour session. For younger children, accessibility needs, or special accommodations, please contact us in advance so we can assist accordingly.

While we aim to be flexible, the best approach is to inform us ahead of time if you need to reschedule. Make-up policies depend on the type of session and notice given.
